The Best of the Best: Adobe Instructors

Recently I posted my “Best of the Best” in WordPress which discussed my favorite WordPress themes and plugin developers. In this “Best of the Best” post we’ll be focusing on Adobe. Not necessarily plugins or filters, but people who teach Adobe products and teach them really well. I won’t bore you with the usual list of folks though. These are the ones that don’t necessarily get the props they deserve (in my opinion), but are still some of the most kick-ass Adobe instructors in the world.

New Photography Site Launched

As I continue to fall deeper down the rabbit hole that is digital photography, I thought it best to separate out my photos into their own site. Having already purchased the domain shutterclik.com a few years back and never doing anything with it, I figured that’d be the best place to do it! The site isn’t fancy or anything, but it serves the purpose of giving me a nice place to showcase my work as I continue to learn and grow as a photographer. iPhoneography 101

One of my favorite features of my iPhone has to be the camera, and throughout my extensive travels I find myself using it a lot (I’m paranoid after having all my photo gear stolen at JFK airport a few years back). Since my iPhone is the camera that I have with me most often, I’ve had to refine my process quite a bit to get the best images possible. Lately I’ve posted some of my images (see below) and people have been very interested in how I take or process the photos. In this article I’ll walk you through my favorite iPhone camera apps and my process for taking/editing photos while on the go.

Here’s a photo of the Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. My wife and I were on our way to eat breakfast a few days ago when I noticed the cloud formations in the sky… As we passed this church I immediately turned in and set up shop for a quick photo. My wife understands, she married a geek!
